Located on the south side of Birdsong Creek, 1.5 miles in the deep buoyed channel, entering from the scenic Tennessee River. Situated in “America’s Great Loop” halfway between the dams - Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley and Pickwick. MARINA

140 covered slips in Birdsong’s Marina with 30-50 amp electrical service; overnight docking for five (5) boats up to 80’; gas and “fresh” diesel; 65’x65’ lighted, concreted launching ramp; OMC, MerCruiser, Volvo Onan engine repairs; prop sales and repair service. SHIP'S STORE

The “Ship’s Store” offers gas, “fresh” diesel, bait, tackle, nautical supplies, snacks, “fresh” sandwiches delivered daily, a menu of “heat and eat” breakfast and lunch items; ice, cold beer, and soft drinks; and a variety of souvenir items.


SERVICE & AVAILABILTY

Dozens of restaurants nearby – fast food to “sit down.” Transient visitors may utilize the resort’s “courtesy car” for a trip into town for groceries or dinner. UPS and FedEx services, fax services, and Internet access available at the general office; Hot showers on premise, laundry facility nearby.


CATERING
Southern-style pulled pork barbecue, barbecue ribs, steaks, shrimp, grilled chicken, country breakfast, deli-style lunches… we can do it all. Let us take the load off of planning your event – so you can enjoy the day!


OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

14 deluxe, full-housekeeping cottages and manufactured rental homes scattered throughout the resort ranging in size from an efficiency for two to group lodges that can accommodate up to twenty five. All are completely furnished with pots, pans, linens, microwave, coffee pot, grill, picnic table, TV, VCR and/or DVD. Each unit is unique in its features but all have either a porch or deck (some screened-in), select ones have private telephones, satellite television, fireplaces and Jacuzzi tubs. THINGS TO DO
Birdsong offers a host of activities “in house” including fishing, boating, swimming, and general outdoor recreational fun. Home of North America’s ONLY freshwater pearl-culturing operation – The Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Museum, Farm and Tour – “walk-in’s” may visit the museum, enjoy the video presentation, and shop from the pearl jewelry showroom.
