Ground Zero, to view the makeshift memorials for the victims This is the ground view of the Empire State Building, now New York's
tallest structure This shot was taken from the top of the Empire State Building looking
toward Ground Zero at night. The smoke continues to rise from the
rubble. Another shot of the memorials at St. Paul's Church, which was
unscathed in the 9-11-2001 terrorist attack. Bob stopped to thank these FDNY (Fire Department of New York) Fire
Fighters for their work and bravery in the line of duty Bob and Janis stopped by to visit with Bob's cousin, Jim Swanson who
lives just blocks from Ground Zero From Bob's private collection of Ground Zero shots. Lord we're not here to be a hero or to be seen or t.v. we're here to serve a purpose to save a human being. A mist the death and destruction give us strength to carry on. Let the light of your love shine as the whole country mourns. Give our ears the sensitivity to hear the faintest sound give us courage to keep going until the last person is found. Even though we know so many precious lives were lost we will bring the home to their loved ones no matter what the cost.
