Mark Morris and son, Keith hauled in twenty-eight nice-sized crappie the morning of April 20, 2005. The father-and-son duo say they were fishing minnows on double rigs. They caught the "mess" mostly "in the creek" but a few of them came from "Crappie Hollow," but ALL in less than 4 ft. of water. Mark said, " I haven't missed an April at Birdsong since I starting coming in 1961." Mark and his dad, Jimmy were always in Birdsong Creek for the annual crappie spawning season throughout the years. The Morris family is from New Castle, Kentucky.
