Escorted by Brendall Couan, the nine to eleven year old ALPS Children from Paris Elementary School Special School District, and several of their parents, attended a “Mini Pearl Tour” at Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground on Kentucky Lake in Camden on May 11, 2006.

The two hour educational tour teaches the children research and the know how on pearl cultivation growing in the waters of the Tennessee River. All of the children were really outgoing and thoroughly involved in the process of the pearl tour.
