- Pearl Tours -
The Jackson Hotel/Motel Association of Jackson, TN had it’s monthly meeting at Birdsong Resort, Marina & Campground on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. They attended the resort and were familiarized with the activities of the resort and took a “Pearl of a Tour.” After the group had been wowed by the unique activities involved in the pearl operation, the owner Bob Keast took them to the pavilion where the catering department served them a full meal consisting of mouth-watering ribs, pulled pork, barbecued chicken, potato salad, slaw, cornbread, baked beans, and plenty of delectable apple fritter for dessert. It was plain to see that the group had a fantastic time on the “Pearl of a Tour.” It was the best metting the group has had all year said, “Chip Coughlin, General Manager of The Old English Inn, Hotel & Conference Center. Thanks was given to Bob, the rest of the staff and even Hunter who took the complimentary group photo.
