- 5-29-09 Tom & Marge Ranoupo and friends of Kansas City, Mo stopped into Birdsong Resort & Marina for the night in their 25 ft. 1994 New Horizons boat.
- April 12, 2009 - Jennifer Burnett of Columbia, TN stopped into Birdsong Resort and Marina on her way back to Perryville Marina where she keeps her 24 ft. Bayliner Sailboat.
- March 27, 2009 - Paul and Marty McGreer of Patriot, IN at Turtle Creek Harbor stopped in to visit Birdsong Resort and Marina and visit the
Tennessee River Freshwater Pearl Farm & Museum in their 34 foot CHB named "Nit-noy".
- January 3, 2009 - Eileen Manning and Amy Capitola of Minneapolis in their 2007 34 ft. Sea Ray boat coined "Partners in Time," stopped into Birdsong Resort and Marina for the night on their way to Pickwick and then on to Wheeler Dam.
- November 28, 2008 - Phillip & Wilma Quire of Hopkinsville, KY stopped into Birdsong Resort & Marina for the night in their 41 ft. 1983 Chris Craft Commander 410 named “Miss Q” on their trip from their original homeport of Cadiz, KY and are headed to their new homeport in Tampa, FL.
- November 25, 2008 – MacArthur Family of Fort Pierce, FL bought their new boat named Pineapple Express in Nashville, TN and are headed back home and enjoying every minute of it.
- October 17, 2008 - The Isbell Brothers of Greenville, SC stopped in for the night at Birdsong Resort & Marina on their way to Columbus, MS in their 34 ft. CHB boat named “Dream Seeker” from their homeport of Charleston, SC.
- October 17, 2008 - James Ohalloran of Richmond, VA in his 55 ft. Custom Made boat titled “Miss Mary” stopped into Birdsong Resort & Marina on his way South for the winter from his homeport of Morgan City, LA.
- Robert & Lois Christopher of Newmanstown, PA in their 34 ft. boat named “Going There”; Jeanette & Charles Burke from Hudson, NH in their 36 ft. boat named “Highlander”; Flint & Leslie Firestone of Chapin, SC in their 44 ft. boat named “Grace Full”; Larry & Margie Ross of Vero Beach, FL in their 55 ft. boat named “Wanderin L & M” all stopped into Birdsong Resort & Marina for the night on their Great Lakes Loop as members of the AGLCA: America’s Great Loop Cruisers Association.

- August 1, 2008 - Andrew Newton and family from Green Turtle Bay Marina in Grandrivers, KY stopped into Birdsong for the night on their way to Clifton, TN in their 34 ft. American Tug boat named Freedom.
- August 1, 2008 - Kim Ketter of Makanda, IL stopped into Birdsong in his 44 ft. Gulfstar boat named Halcyon on his way to Clifton, TN.
- August 1, 2008 - David Rittenhouse and his family stopped into Birdsong on their way to Clifton, TN in their 42 ft. Carver Boat named Da Ja Ri II.

- November 2, 2006 The Rock Me Gently docked at Birdsong Resort November 2nd for a short visit on his way from Wabash, MN to Scottsboro, AL. On board this 27' boat was Marty Freibuger of St. Paul MN. Well here Marty visited Cody's for some BBQ.
- November 2, 2006 The Between Assignments, docked at Birdsong Resort November 2nd for a short visit on their way to Mobile, AL. On board this 42" Jefferson was Jim Johnson and Benny from Indianapolis IN.
- The Janie O docked at Birdsong Resort October 7th for a short visit to see the pearl farm and bought some pearls to take home with them. On board this 28’ Searay was Jane and Tim Macierowski of Uncasville CT
- The Stingray docked at Birdsong Resort for a short visit October 6th, 2006 on board this 19’ Stingray was Ed and Mark Miller of Indianapolis IN
- The Pamela Jane docked at Birdsong Resort for a short visit October 3rd , 2006 on board this 28’ boat was Pamela, Sara and Will O’Grady of Hilton Head SC.
- Sharon’s Rose out of Wilmington, NC dock at Birdsong Resort September 30th , 2006 on the way to Florida on board the 65’ Pacific Mariner was Bill and Sharon Kiehl of Olympia Fields, IL
- The Sybaris visited Birdsong Resort September 30th , 2006 for an over night stay on board this 49’ Grand Banks was Mike Huck from Merritt Island, FL.
- John Poe from Austin TX aboard the Wonderlust visited Birdsong on September 29th, 2006

- Jerry Rogers and his wife Judy Casanova took an incredible journey from Claremont, CA all the way to the Mississippi River. The couple stopped in at Birdsong on their 18’ Tracker pontoon boat for a couple days of rest on June 26, 2006. While at Birdsong they had their boats repaired by Birdsong’s owner Bob Keast, and were taken out to eat at the local restaurant The Catfish Place.
- Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ridderhush sailed into Birdsong Marina November 26, 2005 on their homemade 57’ mono-hull sail boat named “CAL”. The couple homeports in the Gulf of Mexico and resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
- Newt and Audrey McCullar took a journey along the Great Loop – from their homeport in Mobile, AL to Panama City in the late fall of 2005. The couple pulled in on their 58’ Hatteras named the “Roman Holiday” and stayed over at Birdsong from the 13th of November until after Thanksgiving before continuing along their way.
- Jeff Kleinstiver and Cynthia Hobgood with their dog “Wiley,” stayed over at Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground October 30, 2005. The Charlotte, West VA couple was aboard a 28’ Marinetta named “Mary Poppins” traveling by waterways from Maryland to Pensacola, FL.
- Mr. and Mrs. Jim Klinck on the Muskrat. The Klincks are from Ontario, Canada, but homeport in Barry’s Bay in Ottawa, Canada. The couple visited Birdsong October 19, 2005
- Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Root on the TomCat from Drafton, Ohio, October 18, 2005

- Jason, Tanya and Austin Coldiron – “The Coldiron Crew,” lived on their boat for a year while their new house was being built. They were expecting a baby and during Tanya’s 6-month maternity leave… the Coldirons returned to the “She’s Moor” and began the adventure of “The Great Loop.” The family pulled into Birdsong Marina on Sunday, September 25, 2005 on the final leg of their journey, Now working their way south through the Tennessee River then the Tombigbee Waterway, they are headed for home – Pensacola, Florida. Tanya will return to work October 1 and Jason and Austin expect to complete the route on October 17, 2005. - Spencer Apple and Family on the Double Downs, from Las Vegas, Nevada, Sept. 26, 2005
- September 23, 2003 two transient vessels cruised into Birdsong Marina while in route to Brandenton, FL. The "Ole Salt" - a 43' Gulfstar trawler from Henderson Harbor, NY - crewed by Captain Dave Brown and his wife, Polly; and "Aftica" - a 48' ft custom trawler - crewed by Captain Jack Spry and his wife, Pamela.
- John and Judy Gill with Two J's, Hatboro, PA and Margaret and Howard Daniel with Marge's Barges, Willow Grove, PA. These 20-year companions traveling together stopped by Birdsong Resort, Marina and Campground at the 103.5 Friday, September 5, 2003 for an overnight stay along their journey. The couples are two vessels of over 700 making the trek of the Great American Loop this year.
